01. Organiser and programme status
The proposed promoter is VAYU Limited (“VAYU”). The Business Growth Championship is a proposed annual customer performance programme intended to recognise verified improvement among participating businesses. The competition has not been launched and the final rules, dates, sponsors and prize specifications are pending confirmation.
This document is provided for consultation only. No purchase, registration or enquiry creates a right to compete or receive a prize before the definitive rules are published and any necessary permissions obtained.
02. Proposed eligibility
Proposed participants must be legally operating businesses capable of entering enforceable contracts, have an active paid agreement for V-OS or a VAYU custom business web application with an initial term of at least three months, be accepted into the programme, and complete the baseline and participation documentation.
OneDigital access may be provided at no additional cost to approved participants for the programme period, subject to a defined feature scope and acceptable-use terms. Customers from competing industries may enter; qualifying businesses are not ranked according to how much they spend with VAYU. VAYU employees, judges, auditors, sponsors and their connected parties may be restricted in the definitive rules.
03. Period, registration and continuity
The proposed competition lasts twelve months, with approximately twenty participating businesses. Definitive commencement, entry closure, reporting deadlines and award dates will be published in the final rules. A three-month qualifying service commitment does not automatically provide a full-year competition measurement record.
All championship candidates must meet the specified minimum comparable assessment window. Late enrolments may be deferred to the next series. Terms will specify the effect of contract expiration, cancellation, non-payment, change of ownership and material operational interruption.
04. Baseline and scoring
Businesses will be assessed against independently reviewed starting baselines using a proposed 100-point Business Growth Index:
Revenue performance 20Operational efficiency 20Customer growth & retention 15Productivity 15Customer experience 15Digital & process maturity 10Governance & data quality 5
Final rules will specify source data, exact formulas, weighting, caps, normalization, minimum denominators, industry comparability, seasonality, extraordinary transactions, audit standards and tie-break rules. These must be locked prior to competition scoring. Service spending, additional purchases and referrals do not improve the championship score.
05. Independent oversight and certification
An external independent auditor is intended to participate from commencement, verify each baseline, approve the methodology, sample and validate evidence, address discrepancies and certify the final ranking. VAYU may operate the technology and display provisional dashboards, but it will not unilaterally decide the winner.
The auditor’s identity, professional scope, independence safeguards, access arrangements and escalation process will be disclosed in the final documentation. A third-party auditor does not replace any regulatory oversight required by law.
06. Evidence, confidentiality and data
Participants must provide accurate and lawful evidence suitable for verification. Business financial records, customer data, employee information and other sensitive materials will be restricted to authorized use under separate participation and privacy documentation. Public scoreboards will use only the information permitted by the participant and the applicable rules.
Privacy notices, retention periods, controller/processor responsibilities, confidentiality protections, security measures and rights under applicable Jamaican data protection law will be finalized before collection of championship data.
07. Proposed grand prize and additional awards
The intended grand prize is one new 2027 motor vehicle with an indicative value of J$5.9 million and a proposed one-year insurance benefit. The vehicle in promotional imagery is illustrative only. Make, model, year, actual valuation, insurance scope, vehicle registration, taxes, transfer costs, fulfilment and substitutions must be confirmed in a signed prize undertaking and the final approved rules.
Further recognition or prizes for participants may be announced only after they are secured and relevant terms have been published. This page does not constitute a binding promise of a vehicle or insurance.
08. Fair conduct, disqualification and appeals
Fabricated evidence, manipulated transaction dates, related-party transactions designed to distort results, improper access to systems, collusion, bribery, material misrepresentation or obstruction of independent verification may result in investigation and disqualification, subject to due process.
The definitive rules will provide written notice, opportunities to respond, evidence deadlines, an independent appeals route and published tie-breakers. The winner should be determined by the approved performance criteria, not chance or public voting.
09. Regulatory review, changes and limitations
Because participation is connected to paid commercial services and a valuable prize, the programme must receive Jamaican legal review and a written regulatory classification from the relevant authority, including the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission as appropriate, before the vehicle is promoted as an available award or entry opens.
Changes, postponement or cancellation provisions will be established in the definitive rules. VAYU does not guarantee customer business outcomes. No clause will override mandatory consumer protection, data protection, gambling or competition rules under applicable law.
10. Enquiries and official updates
To discuss the programme, services or prospective sponsorship, use the enquiry form on the homepage. Official dates, approved rules, prize specifications and the auditor’s details will be made available through this site if and when confirmed.
